The Helios 180L ice drill is designed for drilling holes in ice when fishing. Working rotation is left (counterclockwise). The height of the auger turns is 40 cm.
The upper handle of the ice auger is offset relative to the auger axis by 130 mm, and the lower one by 150 mm. This arrangement of the handles allows you to rotate the ice auger simultaneously with both hands, thereby, without applying much effort, increasing the speed of drilling holes in the ice.
The patented design of the lock does not cause play even with frequent use.
The ice auger is equipped with a plastic wing with a steel core and plastic handles, which were used on TONAR ice drills until 2014. Thanks to this, Helios ice augers are the most affordable.
Such an ice auger is simply necessary in the arsenal of any angler who wants to catch trophy fish. A hole with a diameter of 180 mm can easily accommodate pike or pike perch weighing 10-15 kg. The ice drill is equipped with 2 knives (art. NLT-180L.SL.02).
