Ice auger TORNADO-M2 150 MINI is a lightweight ice auger in the line of ice augers TORNADO-M2 with left rotation. It is specially designed for lovers of winter fishing, when it is necessary to travel long distances on foot. The model is also perfect for drilling on first ice or in reservoirs with shallow ice depth. When folded, it is very small (62 cm), making this drill easy to take with you on the road.
The telescopic extension rod allows you to step-by-step increase the drilling depth if necessary. The length in working position can reach up to 1470 mm. The maximum drilling depth is 980 mm. Product weight - 2.85 kg.
Compared to classic ice drills, the pitch of the auger turns is increased by 10%, which ensures faster release of the hole from sludge and reduces the drilling force. A reinforced wing screw with a modified thread pitch on the lock parts made it possible to completely solve the problem with the wing unscrewing spontaneously and weakening the lock. The patented dovetail lock securely fixes the handle when unfolded without any play.
The handles are made of soft plastic, which remains pleasant to the touch even in severe frosts. The upper handle of the ice drill is offset relative to the ice drill axis by 105 mm, and the lower handle by 165 mm. This arrangement of the handles allows you to rotate the ice drill with both hands at the same time, thereby increasing the speed of drilling holes in the ice. Despite its small size, the drilling depth reaches up to a meter. A reliable polymer coating, resistant to sudden temperature changes, makes the appearance of the ice drill very beautiful.
