The updated version of the sports ice drill with a drilling diameter of 80 mm has a seamless auger. The increased barrel length and the number of auger turns ensure easy and fast drilling. With certain skills, such an ice auger can drill holes up to 1.10 m deep in one pass!
The upper handle of the ice auger is offset relative to the axis of the ice auger by 105 mm, and the lower one by 165 mm. This arrangement of the handles allows you to rotate the ice auger simultaneously with both hands, thereby increasing the speed of drilling holes in the ice.
A reliable lock, which has proven itself on TORNADO ice augers, with a reinforced wing screw guarantees no backlash and absolute alignment screw and handle.
The handles are made of soft plastic, which remains warm and pleasant to the touch even in severe frosts.
